It was 11:30 pm, and I was convinced that it was the beginning of our forever and happily everafters... But the truth was that the first sweet kiss of lips pressed together in passion and the electric fire that blazed across that fleshy connection signaled not the beginning of the beginning, but the beginning of an end that for me, never really came at all.
